Consider God's Unfathomable Wisdom

Oh, the depth of the riches 
both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! 

How unsearchable are His judgments 
and unfathomable His ways! 

Who has known the mind of the Lord? 

Or who has been His councillor?

Consider God's Magnificent Wisdom

But ask the animals, and they will teach you, 

or the birds in the sky, and they will tell you; 

or speak to the earth, and it will teach you, 

or let the fish in the sea inform you. 

Which of all these does not know that the hand of the Lord has done this? 

To God belong wisdom and power; counsel and understanding are His.

Consider Our Call To Mercy

He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. 

And what does the Lord require of you? 

To act justly 

and to love mercy 

and to walk humbly with your God.

Consider God's Abundant Mercy

There is no God like You. 

You forgive those who are guilty of sin; 

You don't look at the sins of Your people who are left alive. 

You will not stay angry forever, because You delight in mercy.

Consider God's Mercy

...He causes His sun to rise on the evil and good, 

and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.

Reflect: Are you Ready?

Behold I am coming quickly, 

and my reward is with Me, 

to render to every man according to what he has done.

Consider the Blessed!

Blessed are they whose ways are blameless, 

who walk according to the law of the Lord.

Blessed are they who keep His statutes 

and seek Him with all their heart.

Consider Our Call To Faithfulness

Let love and faithfulness never leave you; 

bind them around your neck, 

write them on the tablet of your heart. 

Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man.

The Surety of God's Word!

For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass away from the Law, until all is accomplished.

Consider God's Faithfulness!

Your love, O Lord, reaches to the heavens,

Your faithfulness, to the skies,

Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains,

Your justice like the great deep.

O Lord, You preserve both man and beast.

Consider Our Response to God's Love

Now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you except to revere Him, 

to obey all His commandments, 

to love Him, 

to serve Him with all your mind and being, 

and to keep the Lord’s commandments and statutes 

that I am giving you today for your own good? 

Deut. 10:12, 13

Consider God's Infinite Love

... And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord's holy people, 
to grasp how long and wide and high and deep 
is the love of Christ, 
and to know this love that surpasses knowledge... 
Eph. 3:17-19

The Bible also describes this great love of God as: UNFAILING Love, UNENDING Love (Love that endures forever) and UNFATHOMABLE Love (Love that is limitless). What is man, that He should be so mindful of us? Let praise and thanksgiving be unto Him who is indescribable in every way.

Consider God's Great Love

Remember that at that time you were separate from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, 

without hope and without God in the world. 

But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away 

have been brought near by the blood of Christ. 

Eph. 2:12, 13

Trusting our Sovereign God!

Trust in the Lord with all your heart 

and lean not on your own understanding; 

in all your ways submit to Him, 

and He will make your paths straight. 

Prov. 3:5, 6

Consider God's Sovereignty

Now Hezekiah said to Isaiah, “What will be the sign that the Lord will heal me, and that I shall go up to the house of the Lord the third day?” Isaiah said, “This shall be the sign to you from the Lord, that the Lord will do the thing that He has spoken: shall the shadow go forward ten steps or go back ten steps?” So Hezekiah answered, “It is easy for the shadow to decline ten steps; no, but let the shadow turn backward ten steps.” Isaiah the prophet cried to the Lord, and He brought the shadow on the stairway back ten steps by which it had gone down. 2Kin. 20:8

Consider God's Authority!

‘Do you not fear Me?’ declares the Lord.

‘Do you not tremble in My presence?

For I have placed the sand as a boundary for the sea,

An eternal decree, so it cannot cross over it.

Though the waves toss, yet they cannot prevail;

Though they roar, yet they cannot cross over it.

Jer. 5:22

Consider Your Relationship With God

Behold the Lord’s hand is not so short that it cannot save; Neither is His ear dull that it cannot hear. 

But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, 

And your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He does not hear. 

Isa. 59:1, 2

Consider God's Greatness

Who has measured the waters in the hollow of His hand, 

And marked off the heavens by a span, 

And calculated the dust of the earth by the measure, 

And weighed the mountains in a balance, 

And the hills in a pair of scales? 

Isa. 40:12

Give Me Understanding of Your Ways, O God!

...Teach me Your decrees. 

Cause me to understand the way of Your precepts, 

that I may meditate on Your wonderful deeds. 

Psa. 119:26, 27

Salt of the Earth

You are the salt of the earth; 

but if the salt has become tasteless, 

how can it be made salty again? 

It is no longer good for anything, 

except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.
